The welding of welded ball valves is actually different from ordinary welding techniques, because there are non-metallic sealing materials such as rubber and polytetrafluoroethylene plastic in the valve chamber, which cannot undergo heat treatment after welding. The thick walled multi-layer welding process of welding ball valves is a process of repeated heating and cooling of metal materials. Usually, its welding joints are designed as narrow gap thick walled submerged arc welding, and some valve bodies that use full welding are mostly those with ultra large thickness cylindrical welding joints. Therefore, the stress concentration and residual stress in the root gap of the valve body welding joint have become weak links in the valve body structure due to poor organization. The current two treatment methods are: 1. It is a heat treatment technology treatment; 2. It is the joint treatment; These two processing methods will generate stress concentrations several times higher than normal working stress, making it difficult for manufacturer engineers to handle.
