The "Development of Complete Equipment for Ship Power Stations" project aims to develop domestically produced automatic power stations for 70000-110000 ton oil tankers. It has successfully developed ship power station main distribution boards and emergency distribution boards with independent intellectual property rights, in compliance with international standards, adopting upright frame shielding structure, and modular design.
At the same time, a power plant monitoring system with independent intellectual property rights has also been developed. The main generator unit has broken through the key technology of designing and manufacturing main components through introduction, digestion and absorption, and the localization rate of the entire machine components has reached over 70%, forming an industrial scale.
At present, China has become the world's third-largest shipbuilding country after Japan and South Korea, with a shipbuilding industry share of 12% in the international market. However, due to the fact that Chinese ship equipment cannot be independently matched, it seriously restricts the international competitiveness of China's ship supporting industry, resulting in an actual loading rate of less than 40% for Chinese ship supporting equipment.
Ship power station equipment includes main generator sets, emergency generator sets, and main/emergency distribution boards, which are essential equipment for ships and marine engineering equipment, with huge market potential. Therefore, the successful development and industrial scale of this project will be a new economic growth point for China's shipbuilding industry, which can directly reduce the shipbuilding cost of the final assembly plant and enhance China's international competitiveness in shipbuilding.
